Additional Information

How does PEEK compare to other engineering plastic materials:

  • PEEK is approximately 53% harder than acetal
  • Compared to Nylon 6 Nylon 6/6 PEEK is close to 60% more stiff
  • PEEK can operate for short periods of time at temperatures up to approx. 572º F (15% higher than PTFE)
  • Tensile strength is approximately 35% higher than Nylon 6 or Nylon 6/6

PEEK is also known by a variety of trade names including:

  • TECAPEEK
  • Vestakeep
  • Ketron® PEEK
  • Ketron® PEEK 1000
  • CeramaPEEK
  • Victrix
